The Project: This project was designed and built by Clintar as part of our partnership with The Home Depot Landscape Installation Services.

What We Did: The project originally started as a 400 square foot backyard patio and grew to become a complete landscape renovation. The final plans included a retaining wall, hardscapes, softscapes, garden designs and woodworking elements throughout the entire property.

The planting plan included using some specimens already existing on the property and was supplemented by perennials, climbing vines, grasses, shrubs and colourful groundcover.

A pergola was added to provide shade for the patio sitting area and mirror the lines created by the deck stairs; this also provided angular symmetry to an otherwise random curved design in the patio area.
