The
Project: In 2003,
Clintar London was contracted
by the London International
Airport to install a multi-phase
landscape project.
What
We Did: This
innovative project included
12,000 square feet of
paving stones, concrete
sidewalks and benches;
thousands of plants were
also put in to create
a beautiful green space
in a unique environment.
In 2005, an extension
to the gardens was added,
featuring a T33 aircraft
mounted on a pedestal
surrounded by a park-like
setting.
Clintar London is also
responsible for maintaining
the look of this distinctive
landscaped area. The site
requires regular cutting,
trimming and power edging
of turf areas weekly,
as well as maintaining
a weed-free appearance
in all garden beds and
hard surface areas.
Each year, we supply and
install approximately one
hundred flats of annual
flowers in pots and planters
throughout the project.
