Clintar in Kitchener is recruiting a new Estimator/Designer. The successful applicant will pursue sales opportunities with current and prospective customers requiring landscape services, as well as be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by managing quality, consistency and service. In addition will produce quality illustrations to assist customers in their decision process and installation.

Duties & Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES • Create and Design 2D and 3D renderings • Generate and qualify leads, source and develop client referrals • Prepare sales action plans and schedules by utilizing the sales and promotional materials provided • Plan and conduct direct marketing activities including website • Make sales calls to new and existing customers and take necessary measurements while walking the property • Meet with Foreman at the beginning of each job to provide instructions • Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients • Develop sales proposals and drawings, present sales contracts and negotiate with clients • Prepare appropriate job jackets for the installation crews once projects are sold. This includes all necessary material, equipment and labour lists, as well as photos and all necessary drawings • Respond to sales inquiries and concerns through all communication types (phone, electronically and in person) • Ensure customer satisfaction and good client relationships • Follow up on sales activity • Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management • Adhere to timelines set out in schedule below • Duties to be assigned

Requirements:
• College and/or university related education required • 3 plus years experience with design experience in the field • Industry related knowledge/experience in multiple areas (maintenance, construction, etc.), including construction practices, products and solutions • Knowledge of relevant computer applications (Dynascape and Autocad) • Knowledge of principles and practices of sales • Knowledge of customer service and business principles • Experience in sales and presentation skills; good verbal, written and illustrated communication • Good planning and organizational abilities • Proven ability to be goal oriented and achieve sales target

• College and/or university related education

Required License Or Certification:
G Class Driver's License
