Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services in London, ON is looking to hire a Full Time Irrigation Technician! For over 50 years, Clintar Outdoor Commercial Property Services has provided award-winning landscape management services to Fortune 500 companies, property management firms, government and private and public organizations and now in 2023, we are adding Residential Landscaping to our Services. We are actively seeking someone that is dedicated to assisting with maintenance, repair and installation of both commercial and residential irrigations systems. You prioritize safety above all and look forward to learning from other industry professionals. Salary Range: $20/hr + (based on experience/education)

Duties & Responsibilities:
● Operate, maintain and repair commercial or residential irrigation systems, including leaks in distribution lines, valves, control lines and sprinkler heads. ● Monitoring and testing new installations, troubleshoot and repair problems, observe pipe and valve placements, and evaluate start-ups, winterization and overall operation of the irrigation system. ● Periodically inspect the various components of the irrigation system to ensure that they are operating properly. ● Constant attention to preventative maintenance schedule, keeping records to ensure that all areas are working to optimal performance at all times. ● Modifies existing irrigation to improve coverage or allow for construction activities. ● Rapidly responds to address emergency leaks or malfunctions. ● Repairs broken irrigation components such as pipes, heads, nozzles, valves. ● Troubleshoots and repairs electrical components. ● Monitors and programs irrigation controllers for proper and efficient operation. ● Adapts to changes in seasonal work load by filling in with other grounds personnel as assigned by the supervisor. ● During winter operations, Technician must be available for snow removal and/or salting and sidewalk snow removal operations 24 hours a day, unless prior arrangements have been made and approved by management.

Requirements:
● Min. 4 years in installation and maintenance of irrigation systems. ● Valid G drivers license, with a clean driver’s abstract. ● Working knowledge of related plumbing and electrical (low-voltage) principles. ● Must be a team player, have effective communication and self directed.

Qualifications:
● You must have great supervisory skills and be proactive in preventative maintenance. ● You have a great work ethic, enjoy working with others, and require little to no supervision. ● You will be required to complete our internal training program. ● You will need a valid G license and to provide a Drivers Abstract at time of interview.
