Clintar Takes Part in National Tree Day at Black Walnut Public School

September 27th was National Tree Day in Canada this year. Clintar’s head office partnered up with the Markham franchise to take part in the great day. They planted a Bur Oak at Black Walnut Public School. While doing so the school brought out about 120 students from kindergarten and grade 1 to participate.

The students were shown how to plant a tree, and explained all of the benefits that trees have to our planet. The students were very intrigued and had lots of great questions about tree planting and the benefits to planting them. It was a beautiful day and a great initiative to help make our planet more sustainable for the future of our world.

Clintar would like to give a special thank you to Sheridan Nurseries for graciously donating the Bur Oak tree that was planted at Black Walnut Public School.
