Ronald McDonald House
Clintar of London has a special connection with the Ronald McDonald House of Southwestern Ontario, with co-owner Mike Malleck having served as past president of the organization. When children are up against life-threatening illnesses and injuries, the Ronald McDonald House provides a comfortable and affordable place for families to stay and receive support while their children receive much-needed treatment. The team at Clintar also visits the Ronald McDonald House on a monthly basis to cook dinner and spend time with the families and children staying in the house
Country Classic Auction
For over 19 years, Clintar has been supporting this wonderful event that raises money to support the London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC). LHSC provides a full range of services dedicated to helping patients get back in the saddle faster, so they can get back to doing what they love. Funds raised at the Country Classic Auction go toward supporting a variety of initiatives including implementing programs that support mental health and those dealing with mental health issues. Clintar owner Mike Malleck has also proudly served as Chair of this event.
Clintar Scholarships
Clintar believes in the importance of cultivating the talent of tomorrow and is proud to provide scholarships to students who have interest in the landscaping industry. Each year, Clintar of London awards scholarships to four hard-working students majoring in the Horticultural Technician program at Fanshawe College.
St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation
Clintar contributes to and supports the many different charitable events held by the St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation each year. From fun days on the fairways to formal dinners, the events offer the entire community a chance to get involved and give back to St. Joseph’s, a health care network that provides life-saving services to those in London and surrounding communities.
Fore! The Houses Golf Tournament
Great things happen when the community comes together for a great cause, and the Fore! The Houses Golf Tournament is no exception. The tournament raises funds to support all 14 Ronald McDonald Houses across Canada. These houses provide a place to call home for families with children facing life-threatening illnesses and injuries. To date, this event has raised $2.7 million and Clintar looks forward to helping that number continue to grow.
