Clintar C.A.R.E.S Announcement

Environmental sustainability has always been part of the way Clintar runs our day-to-day operations. We work hard to evolve our practices to meet current needs, and to prepare for future challenges.

But our company’s environmental efforts expand far beyond day-to-day operations. We are excited to announce the official launch of our newest initiative that will work to support our ultimate sustainability goals!

We are proud to introduce you to Clintar C.A.R.E.S; an ongoing initiative with the goal of crafting a long-term plan that will aid in decreasing greenhouse gas emissions, decreasing our collective carbon footprint, and safeguarding natural resources.

This is an exciting time for Clintar as we continually explore new avenues of working together in unison with our employees, clients, and communities to focus on the importance of an environment-first culture. Clintar CARES about making a real change in the way humans impact the environment, and it is our goal to work together with you in order to enable future generations to enjoy planet earth.

As a company that carries out year-round operations across all of Canada, we are in a unique position to inspire others and make an impact on the environment that will enable future generations to enjoy planet Earth.

Clintar C.A.R.E.S was built on the foundation of 4 elements that serve to guide the initiative; research and development, employee education, scholarships, and environmental leadership.

In partnership with a non-profit research and development lab, the program will work to continually develop new products and services that will aid in Clintar’s journey to continually becoming a greener company. Through this partnership, we plan to focus on how we can advance our operations by incorporating upcycled ocean plastics, greener products, and alternatives to salt use.

Employee education is a large component of Clintar C.A.R.E.S. One of the initiative’s top goals is to continue to educate employees on the future of sustainability so that we can better serve our clients, our communities, and our planet. Clintar University will encourage employees to pursue and earn certifications surrounding environmental, sustainability, and workplace initiatives.

Clintar C.A.R.E.S. will award scholarships to students attending Canadian universities studying within fields of environmental sciences, energy management and landscape architecture in order to help support eventual leaders of a sustainable tomorrow. Our goal is to support future generations in their visions of a protected Earth.

The annual environmental Clintar C.A.R.E.S Case Competition will bring students from various Canadian Universities together for a two-day summit challenging them to create solutions that will influence real-world corporate sustainability efforts. This piece of the initiative serves to push students outside of the box to explore their ideas for cultivating a greener planet.

We are passionate about evolving our eco-friendly practices, educating our staff, and supporting our future leaders; enabling them to step confidently into their dreams of making a real difference for our planet.
