Description:
Clintar Landscape Management is a snow removal and landscape maintenance company. We are currently looking for a full time mechanic to maintain and repair our tractors, loaders, snowplows and summer mowing equipment including small engine trimmers and blowers. In addition, minor repairs on our trucks and trailers will require repairs to be completed on job sites which are in the Scarborough/Richmond Hill and Durham regions therefore a valid driver’s licence and clean drivers abstract is required.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Able to work on call nights and weekends during the Winter Season only on snow and ice storm days. (During Spring/Summer and Fall hours are regular day working hours) • Able to work outside and in all weather conditions • Service and repair of small and large equipment in the shop and at different site locations • Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity • Ensure all equipment meets quality and safety standards • Ordering parts, receiving parts and creating/closing purchase orders as needed • Ensure all appropriate follow up paperwork and computer procedures are completed • Self-motivated worker, willing to participate and support a team environment • Must have your own set of tools and toolbox • Maintain an organized safe work area including shop, service truck and tools • Keep shop and work area clean and presentable • Must have the physical ability to reach, bend and lift • Must have green patch CSA approved safety boots • Valid G drivers licence with clean drivers abstract

Requirements:
Required experience: • Mechanical Skills: 2-3 years • Welding: 1 to 2 years • 1-2 years experience with small engine, lawn and garden equipment • 1-2 years experience with farm tractors/loaders Benefits: • Vehicle provided • Hourly wage or salary is based on experience • Benefits (this covers standard: medical, dental, vision and prescriptions) • Uniforms provided • Great team environment
