Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services in London, ON is looking to hire a Full Time, Seasonal Crew Leader! For over 50 years, Clintar Outdoor Commercial Property Services has provided award-winning landscape management services to Fortune 500 companies, property management firms, government and private and public organizations and now in 2023, we are adding Residential Landscaping to our Services. We are actively seeking someone that is dedicated to providing the highest level of service, excited about working with soft and hard landscaping and doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty. You prioritize safety above all and look forward to challenges and learning from other industry professionals.

Duties & Responsibilities:
● Lead a team of 2-3 employees on a residential Clintar Landscaping project. ● Proactively manage crew members by setting expectations and ensuring work is completed efficiently, correctly and in a timely manner. ● Shows attention to detail, displays effective communication with colleagues, and customers; possess a friendly, customer service minded attitude and conducts themselves in a professional manner. ● Experienced in all areas of Landscape Construction. (Interlock, softscape, hardscape, grading, reading site plans...etc) ● Common plant knowledge, native and invasive species are an asset. ● Physically and safely lift over 50 lbs of working materials. ● Maintain a safe and clean working site. ● Knowledge in operating skid steers/mini excavators and other machinery related to Landscape Construction. ● Maintains truck and equipment safety as a priority BEFORE or AFTER scheduled shift. Equipment maintenance includes, but is not limited to: oil and fluid checks, tire pressure, proper trailer connection, lights and truck cleanliness.

Requirements:
● Working knowledge and proven experience in proper horticultural practice or equivalent. ● Demonstrates ability in building Hardscapes including retaining walls, paving stones etc ● Proven ability in operating construction tools including machinery; skidsteer, loader, stonesaw, tampers etc. ● Clean driving record with G license ● Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear) ● Attention to detail with impeccable customer service skills. ● Teamwork and communication skills ● Physical stamina and strength ● High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus Do you love working on landscape projects and pride yourself in creating stunning landscapes? Are you able to be a mentor for your crew, while challenging yourself and your team? ● You have a track record of leading efficient teams in Landscaping and look forward to teaching others your skills. ● You can operate Landscape machinery, cautiously, safely and ensure that no machinery issues go unnoticed. ● You will be required to complete our internal training program. ● You will need a valid G license and to provide a Drivers Abstract at time of interview.
